Dear The Real Singapore,
I go running in Bishan Park regularly in the evenings and will often stop to look at the many fishes swimming in the stream.
Today, I saw a group of 4 foreign workers putting a big fishing net across the stream and pond with the intention to chase all the Koi fishes into the net.
I approached them and told them to stop as fishing is not allowed in the park.
They then removed the net from the stream. I hope that they were not intending to go elsewhere to fish again after I left.
Why do these foreign workers have no respect for our local laws?
Why are they are so bold as to break the law in broad daylight even with many people watching.
I have lodged a complain with NParks and PUB to let them know about the situation.
Sincerely,
Ernest Wong
