Dear TRS,
I want to share with you this problem that I have been having in my area at Henderson. I have noticed it a lot at Blocks 91 to 93 as this is near where I stay.
These motorcyclists keep driving their bikes at quite high speeds through the void decks and corridors.
I am worried for the safety of my children. I often let them play downstairs and while I try to supervise them, sometimes I also let them go down alone or with neighbours and friends.
These drivers seem to have no regard for the safety of others are and are often seen driving through the pathways.
My young son was almost hit once and I feedback to the town council and LTA but there has been no follow up at all.
There are also many elderly folk and other children who live and play here and their lives are at stake!
I understand that some of these drivers might be delivery drivers (as I have seen some carrying KFC bags) but is it ok for them to drive through the void deck and park wherever they want just to save a few dollars from the carparks and a few minutes of walking each day?
I am also sure that not all are delivery drivers as I have seen the bikes parked in convenient places for quite long periods of time.
I already brought it up with the authorities but nothing seems to be done. What can I do to ensure the safety of my children around our home?
