Dear The Real Singapore,
Someone from a model agency messaged my god daughter on facebook and asked her to go for an interview and during the meeting, the company tried to use pressure tactic to ask her to sign a $5,000 portfolio package.
When she says she don't have so much money with her, she was asked to put a deposit of $200.
My god daughter smell something fishy when they say they don't give any receipt or contract. So she told the person that her ATM is not working and went home.
After she got home, she was asked when she can send in the monies. (sic)
Luckily she did not fall into the trap.
I am writing to you so that you can post it in your page to caution others so that they do not to fall prey to such agency.
Attached is the conversation between my god daughter (light blue) and the company (white text). Names and contact removed to protect the innocent.
