Civil Service College, a stats board in Buona Vista, trains top ranking PAP govt officers in leadership positions and at the same time hosts foreign delegates in various dialogue sessions.
One of my friend who is a sociology graduate from NTU once said that the starting salaries are quite high. He joined Civil Service College with second upper and his salary was already nearing $4000 per month.
I also heard from my civil servant friends that Civil Service College has one of the best luxurious tea receptions when they have training sessions breaks and had Delifrance croissants for tea!
When I attended the NTU Career Fair in 2010, Civil Service College also had the best door gift to give out to job applicants and gave students those hard candy sticky sweets in a nice glass bottle. These signs already show Civil Service College would pay well and can splurge easily.
But alas, I didn't get in (or else you will hear me singing praises of PAP!)
