Dear The Real Singapore,
I am outrage to see foreign workers throwing our flags on the floor when removing it and just throwing it on the floor. The even step onto the flag and even lay it on the floor and sit on it while having their drinks during their breaks. Is this acceptable?
I use to be a flag bearer during army and I took charge of raising our national country flag with pride every morning and then lowering the flag and removing it during the evening. I treat what I was doing back then with pride because I am proud to be handling our national flag and I'm proud to be Singaporean.
It really makes me angry to see foreign workers showing no respect for our country flag and just treating it like rubbish. Despite me telling them not to treat our flag like this they continue to do it and seems to not be able to understand simple English. How is it possible for them to even work in Singapore without even understanding any form of language of communication in Singapore?
